Holograms are collected of photographic images which are given a 3-dimensional appearance by how the hologram sticker is constructed and by using how light behaves. The image is not a true 3-dimensional image but is in fact two 2-dimensional images which use how light enters the label and is reflected back to give the impression of a 3-dimensional image in the eye of the viewer.
Lasers are needed to take the
images used in construct his hologram – in fact two laser beams are used in conjunction with a photographic plate – these combined images are then viewable as a hologram using normal light.
